Pocket cards

Tuesdays are Created by Courtney Challenge (CBCC) and this weeks' challenge is to make a pocket card. So right after dinner last night, I jump to Courtney's blog again and I was shock to
see my card on her blog... thanks Courtney!

Anyway, while I was at work yesterday (during my lunch) I was blog hopping and Anthonette of Chavez Designs made a cute Mini Pocket card. She also posted this video of Jennifer McGuire from Hero Arts. I was going to make a mini pocket card but the image I choose was too big, so I decided to stick to a regular card size.

Base of the card is a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 of Chocolate Chip card stock, the patterned paper is from Imaginisce, Party Poppers. The main image and sentiment is No Peeking from Whipper Snapper Design. The balloon and the hat was stamped again on a Whisper White card stock, cut-out and raised with stamping dimensional. The balloon is covered with crystal effects and the hat is covered with crystal stickles.

I had so much fun making these, I decided to make another one. Not sure if I like the second one but I really like the color combination challenge yesterday at SCS which is Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette and Kiwi Kiss.

The flowers is from Stampin' Up, Eastern Blooms are stamped on Whisper White card stock with Pink Pirouette classic ink and the center flowers are covered with self-adhesive rhinestones. The sentiment is from StampingBella.
