Just Because of Kristina Werner

It's time for Kristina Werner's color inspiration and this week's colors are Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Kiwi Kiss and Very Vanilla... doesn't that make you hungry? LOL! I actually missed the last 4 KW's challenge and there are so many other challenges that I’ve wanted to participate into but due to lack of time, I have to make quickie cards. And after seeing this week's colors, I wanted to join in the fun... again!

Here's my take... Michelle Zindorf of My Life and Artistic Celebration had this punched vases tutorial months ago and had it saved to my faves hoping I can create these beauties. So, while listening to the Vice President debate last night, I was punching (use Stampin' Up Large Oval Punch), cutting (stacked all three and cut top and bottom), sponging (the left side of the vase for some shadow effect) and rubbing (used Stampin' Up Love and Happiness Rub ons for the sentiment) away. You got to try these!

And as promised, here are the 2 cards that I received. The one on the left is from Ashley Newell of A New Design and the one on the right is from Carolyn Bounds of P.M.S etc (Papers, Markers, Stamp, etc).

Paper: Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie and Kiwi Kiss card stock from Stampin' Up

Accessories: Stamping dimensional, Prima Flowers, Large Oval Punch, Self-Adhesive rhinestones and Stampin' Up Love and Happiness Rub Ons

LOVE this vase card! The shading on the vases really kicks it up a notch!I'm not a CAS stamper, but I love to see the way other stampers make such sublime creations with so little! I found you through Amy (Tsuruta), she's my favorite CAS stamper!!
