Shoe shopping... anyone?

I know my sister would go. One word and she's there... SHOPPING!!!

Her pink top and pink sandals are drizzled with pink stickles for some sparkle and the boots that she's getting ready to buy is all shiny with Chrystal Effects.

This card was made a month ago when I joined a Bella Card Swap. I received the cards yesterday and they were great! This Bella, Imeldabella, that's her or should I say PennyBella (my sister) is getting ready for winter and shopping for boots, but 4 pairs?!? Isn't that a little too much? Oh yeah! not for my sister =). BTW... for the 4 pairs, she said she's getting ready for next winter also...

B is for...

balloons, birthdays and Barry. Happy Birthday to a long online friend Barry. I met Barry 6 years ago online , though I never met him or his family, we've always stayed good friends.

Happy Birthday my Friend!

I'm still stuck on Kristina Werner aka StarofMay. So, I cased another card of her for this week featured stamper.

I cased this card and again just changed the color combination and stamp set. The cute cupcake mouse is by Whipper Snapper Design. The whole image is cut out (which i don't recommend with his tail and whiskers Cross Eyed, but oh he look so darn cute) and raised with a stampin' dimentional, his hat is cut out for the second time, the icing of the cupcake is covered with Liquid Appliqué and sprinkled it with real purple sprinkles, his nose is also covered with crystal effects. Happy Birthday sentiment is from Unfrogettable by Stampin' Up. Base of the card is stamp with Background Basic from Stampin' Up with Versamark. The patterned paper is from Magnolia Collection by My Minds Eye and tied a brown satin ribbon.

Stamps: Cupcake Mouse from Whipper Snapper Design, Background Basic and Unfrogettable from Stampin' Up

Paper: Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie CS from Stampin' Up, and Patterned Paper is from My Mind’s Eye Magnolia Collection

A sweet birthday wish...

...for someone really sweet! I made this card for a good friend of mine, Sandra.

I'm also using this card for Tracy's blog monthly challenge. The challenge is to create a card using a stamp or stamp sets that you haven't used. Voila! Double purpose.

The image Tiers of Treats is from Stampendous which I got from Eclectic Paperie. Can you believe this baby has never been inked before? The patterned paper is from Magnolia Collection by My Minds Eye. I colored the image with my Prismacolor Watercolor Pencils. The icing for the cake and cupcakes are covered with white liquid appliqué. I used the Crop-a-dile punch to create a place for the ribbon, the ribbon is from Stampin' Up.

Thanks for stopping by and Have a great Weekend!

Happy Birthday, Sandra!

A card for Victoria

If you have a chance to send a card for Victoria Enmon, please do so. She has a cancer and her teacher is trying to get cards mailed to Victoria from each State. To learn more about Victoria's story and how to send a card, go to Courtney’s blog.

Here's a card that my daughter Toni created for Victoria. I let her read Victoria's story and said "Mom, I want to make a card for her" and so she did.

And, here's my card for Victoria. This is also a Sketch Challenge 142 from Splitcoaststampers.

The stamp is called Flower Bug by Whipper Snapper Design. I love all their stamps and just wish I could get all of them (*hint, for my Mom and my sister). The image and sentiment are stamped in Stãz-On Jet Black Ink and colored with Prima Watercolor Pencils. She’s also covered with Crystal Effects for some shine. The background polka dots were stamped with Classic Stampin’ Pad Basic Black Ink from Stampin’ Up using a # 2 pencil eraser.

Stamps: Flower Bug from Whipper Snapper Design and sentiment by Kolette Hall from Michael’s $ bin

Paper: Whisper White, Real Red, Basic Black and Brocade Blue CS from

Family Frame

I've been wanting to try to alter some picture frames. So, when I saw this frame from Cambria Turnbow at Stamp a Little Love Baby, I just have to try it.

I started by covering the whole frame (from Michael's for $1.00) with a patterned paper and coating it with Mod Podge. I then paint the edges in Blue with an Acrylic Craft Paint. Then added a Flower by Maya Road Sheer Collection from Papertrey Ink (also painted it with an Acrylic Craft Paint) and Chocolate Chip Ribbon from Stampin' Up. The word Family is from Michael's also for .50 cents, which is already painted, I just distressed it by smearing chocolate chip ink on the edges, added a ribbon and punch flowers using the same patterned paper.

Voila! A family frame for less than $2.00

Paper: Designer Paper by Fresh Print

Ink: Chocolate Chip from Stampin' Up

Accessories: Chocolate Chip Ribbon, Acrylic Paint, Transparency Film, Flower by Maya Road and Spring Flower Bouquet Punch from Stampin' Up

This classy girl is a stamp by Rubber Romance that I got from Eclectric Paperie. Then I stamped her on some Black and White Designer Paper that I have for the longest time and cut out for her pants. I wanted her to be just plain B&W but thought something is missing, so I colored her hair and skin with Prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol and a stump.

Quiz Time!

I know we're not in school anymore, but isn't it fun taking a quiz that you'll not be graded? Anyway, I took this quick quiz as to what type of personality I have. Don't you want to know also? I answered all the questions and here's my reading:

You Have A Type A- Personality

You are one of the most balanced people around. Motivated and focused, you are good at getting what you want. You rule at success, but success doesn't rule you.

When it's playtime, you really know how to kick back whether it's hanging out with friends or doing something you love! You live life to the fullest - incorporating the best of both worlds.

Take a quick quiz and let me know what you got.

Don't forget to come back soon, I got some cards for y'all!
And, make sure to scroll down and sign my guest book.
