It's another Penny Black Challenge!
This time it's all about Stars and Stripes to any project that you create...a card, ATC or an altered item. And, I just found out that a friend of mine at work is leaving next Friday for a promotion so, instead of making her a card, I thought of doing a gift-card holder. I found this tutorial making this 8x8 Fold Gift Card Holder by Cambria Turnbow of Stamp a Little Love Baby!
This literally took me less than 5 minutes to make this, and I think I'll be making these for Christmas ... if I decide to give-out gift cards to the kids instead of presents (and if the kids are reading my blog, they'll be agreeing with me...LOL!) This cute mouse is from Penny Black, Bubbly acrylic set. The stars are covered with Crystal Clear Stickles. The sentiment was printed in the computer and I used my Stampin' Up Star punch and raised with stamping dimensional. The patterned paper is by Stampin' Up Petal Patch Designer Series Paper.
Did you see
the cards, I created yesterday? Make sure to scroll down ![]()
<---- this is what it looks like inside. Just wished I used a stamp instead of my handwriting =(
Stamps: Bubbly by Penny Black
Paper: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip card stock and Petal Patch DSP from Stampin' Up
Ink: Timber Brown Staz-on ink and SU re-inkers
Accessories: Chocolate Chip gross grain ribbon, SU Star punch and Crystal Effects

Bugs and Kisses!
A friend of mine ordered 50 favors for her niece's baby shower. Her theme is ladybugs and I just have the perfect stamp set! The boxes are from Michaels and they measure 2" X 2". I stamped the ladybugs randomly (7 in a box). I matched the color combination with the baby shower theme. Inside the boxes??? Hershey Kisses!
