My very first tutorial.

Several people asked how I made my coffee filter flowers and several people ask me...ME! to do tutorial. The first time I saw a comment about a tutorial, I actually laugh out loud but just because I'm making another card using coffee filters, I thought of doing a mini tutorial. Here it goes and hope you like it.

I started with these coffee filters. My coffee maker holds the cone shape filters and I bought this by mistake. I already opened the package, so there's no way I'll be able to return them.

Fold your coffee filters in half and I fold mine in half about three times. It's really up to you how you want your flowers to look like.

Cut your flowers in different sizes.

I use my Stampin' Up Riding Hood Red re-inkers to die my coffee filters. Again, it's up to you on how much ink you want to use, it really depends on how dark you want your flowers to look like.

This is how I dry my flowers. It takes about 1/2 an hour to dry but if you're impatient like me, have your tweezers ready to hold on to these flowers and blow dry them, in two minutes it's ready to be used.

And TADAH! Here's my finished card with my coffee filter flower. I really wished I can take a better picture of all my cards, they sure do look better IRL, especially this one! And I used Tracy's of Eat, Sleep, Stamp sketch layout. And she asked (politely) NOT to use any images, I had these rub-on sentiments that I bought months ago and I almost forgot about them. Now, it's your turn to make this easy peasy flowers :)
