Thinking of you and Happy for You!

Verve Visual started their 5 day Holiday Release Sketch Challenge Blitz yesterday and the sketch was designed by Verve Diva herself, Julee Tilman of Poetic Artistry. I always wanted to join in the fun but gets very intimated... don't ask me why. Anyway, here's my card for their first sketch challenge.

Remember this patterned paper? It's from Stampin' Up Designer Series Paper Au Chocolat, I've been hoarding this paper and can't see myself using it at all but it's just perfect for this sketch. The flower and the sentiment is from Verve Visual, Fancy Flowers and was stamped on Very Vanilla card stock with Chocolate Chip class ink. Plain I know but it really looks pretty IRL :)

The second card is for Jen of Iheart2Stamp Sketch For You To Try. The main image and sentiment is from Stampin' Up Nursery Necessities. The boat was stamped on Whisper White card stock with Bashful Blue, So Saffron and Certain Celery classic ink, cut-out and raised with stamping dimensional (oh, not fun at all!). The star is from the same set, stamped with Certain Celery and punched using SU star punch. The patterned paper is from Stampin' Up print packs.
