hi Beautiful!

Last night before going to bed, I was trying to prepare coffee for this morning only to find out that I'm out of coffee filters (don't you just hate that). I actually have coffee filters but the wrong size and what do crafters do with 200 coffee filters that they don't really need? They make something out of it.

I folded 5 coffee filters and cut them in different sizes and dye them using Riding Hood Red Stampin' Up re-inkers and let them dry over night. I roll the edges with the same ink to get a darker shade and covered with crystal stickles. The layout is from Beate's weekend sketch challenge.

The card base is measured 11" x 4 1/4" of Riding Hood Red textured card stock folded in half. The patterned paper is from Stampin' Up Bella Rose Designer Series Paper and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink Beautiful Blooms.

Stamp: Beautiful Blooms by Papertrey Ink

Paper: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red card stock and patterned paper is from Stampin' Up DSP Bella Rose

Ink: ColorBox Chalk Chestnut Brown, SU Riding Hood Red re-inkers and classic ink

Accessories: Chocolate Chip gross grain ribbon, Crystal Stickles, Scallop Punch, 1" circle punch and Stamping Dimensional

What a great idea, the card is beautiful. Very creative.

LOL at the coffee filters, once when my daughter Stefani was little (she was 7), she took my dad's last coffee filter and made a snowflake out of it. She was so proud of it, my dad wasn't to happy, but ya know, he placed that snowflake on the frig and it's still there, 15 years later. It's a reminder for my dad to NEVER run out of coffee filters. hehehehe
