Simply Adorable

What do you do when you work 8 hours a day, help your child with homework, make sure your work clothes and your child's uniform are ready for the next day, and get your lunch and your child's lunch packed for the next day? You do 2 challenges in 1!

When I saw Kristina's color inspiration for this week, I was really excited! I just {heart} these colors together. Though pink pirouette is one of the new Stampin' Up In Color for this year, it was added as a favorite right away. And when I stumbled on Sarah Kay Weekly Challenges early this week, it just have to be added to my weekly to do list. So, when I got home from work last night, while helping my daughter with her homework and doing laundry at the same time, I CREATED and here's my card for this week's both Kristina Werner's color inspiration and Sarah Kay's sketch challenge.

The main image is Sarah Kay Rose's Garden and was stamped on Very Vanilla and matted with Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose and Chocolate Chip card stock and watercolored the image with SU re-inkers. Certain Celery and Regal Rose DSP were matted with Chocolate Chip card stock. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up Cute Converse set, stamped on Very Vanilla, punched using small oval punch, and matted with Chocolate Chip punched using large oval. I finished the card with Chocolate Chip gross grain ribbon and pink dew drops. Card base is 5" square card.

Stamps: Rose's Garden by Sarah Kay

Paper: Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette and Certain Celery card stock from Stampin' Up

Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip, Rose Red re-inkers

Accessories: Chocolate Chip gross grain ribbon, small and large oval punch and pink dew drops

gorgous card and love that pale pink cardstock - just a shame we don't have any extra SU colours here in the UK. How close is Blush Blossom to the Pink Pirouette? annie x
