I've been wanting to do Beate's Sketch Challenge since she posted it on Friday, but just couldn't find the right color combination to use. I know that I wanted to use Anna Wight's new stamp set Posies for You from Whipper Snapper (yes, AGAIN!) but just not liking the colors I keep choosing, until SCS color challenge, Real Red, Apricot Appeal and Ballet Blue. I knew I just have to combine this week's color challenge and Beate's sketch challenge.
The flowers are stamped in using Stazon Jet Black ink and water colored it with Ballet Blue classic ink. The butterflies are also stamped and colored using the same color and covered with crystal stickles, cut out and raised with stamping dimensional. The card base is an 8" x 8" of Apricot Appeal card stock and folded in half to make 8" x 4". All corners of the card are paper pierced. I am really happy with the results on this card.
Stamps: Posies for You by Anna Wight from Whipper Snapper Design and sentiment from Beautiful Blooms from Papertrey Ink
Paper: Whisper White, Apricot Appeal, Real Red and Bashful Blue card stock from Stampin' Up
Ink: Staz-On Jet Black
Accessories: Paper Piercing, Crystal Stickles, Small and Large Oval Punch, Ballet Blue grosgrain ribbon
