This weeks sketch was created by one of the Whimsy Design Team, Jeanette of Happy Thoughts and Inkspots.

It's been awhile since the last time I played with my Whimsy animals and I was debating who's the lucky animal to be used for Jeannete's gorgeous sketch. And this Whimsy Polar Bear did mention to me that he's been looking for someone special, well at least for a date this Valentine's Day. So, I made him a date for next week, and they have plenty of time to know each other....LOL! The only thing was I didn't know how to make his date feminine, I was going to add eyelashes but after several tries, I gave up and leave it as is.

The main image on the left was stamped on a separate Whisper White card stock, cut and raised with stamping dimensional. The one of the right was stamped on a white gift wrap paper, cut and adhered on the white card stock. The patterned paper is from BasicGrey Bittersweet collection. And finished the cards by adding pink heart rhinestones on the corner and three prima flowers.

Just for YOU!

When I saw this sketch from Saturday Sketch, I wanted to use Whipper Snapper stamp, which one?! that's the hard part....LOL! Don't you just have too much stamps and don't know which one to use first?

Anyway, after figuring out which the best stamp to fit this sketch, next thing to figure is what color combination to use. I remember when I start making cards that picking the right colors was the hardest part for me, well, it still is. I usually grab stack of my pattered paper and get an inkpiration from there. And that's what I did here.

And, it's been awhile since the last time these cupcake stamp had been inked and what a party without a cupcake...right?! The Party Koala's nose is covered with crystal effects (so, his nose is all shiny) and the cupcakes are covered with liquid applique and drizzle it with crystal stickles and topped with red dew drops.

Isn't this week just flyin' by? Can't believe it's already Thursday. Anyway, I got 2 cards for yah today. The first card is for Sketch Saturday and a chance to win on fabulous stamp from Whiff of Joy, so how cool is that?

I decided to use my Mr. Count Dracula from Spooky, Spooky, Spooky set by C.C. Design. I know he's not that spooky but isn't he the cutest bear? I embossed a Going Gray card stock with spider web CB folder and this spooky spider climbed down and scared Mr. Count Dracula. The spiders’ eyes are covered with liquid appliqué.

The second card is the card I created the other night for 2Sketches4You, but had a hard time getting a descent shot and I still had the same issue last night...LOL!

The sketch was designed by Laura Davis of A Day in the Life of the Paper Poppy (I dare you say that 3 times). When I was designing this card, I was thinking of using a large image on the right hand side but the circle on the sketch keeps telling me to put 2 googly eyes (I have large googly eyes but thought, nah!) So, while going through my stamps, these two were just begging for me to use them. Hoo Hoo There is from Stampavie and was designed by Rachelle Anne Miler. Same as my first card, both owls’ eyes and the caterpillar are covered with liquid appliqué.
